Beyonce was Fierce and Divalicious!!!
Beyonce has always been an incredible performer but there has not been any show quite like Candlelight: Tribute to Fleetwood Mac I AM... Tour.
She also got her freakum dress on as well as her perfect dance moves through many of the show's choreographed numbers, doing stunts like gliding and flipping through the air.
Not only can she dance her butt off and show off her special effects, but the girl can SING.
The show was a stage spectacle from start to finish, with Beyonce opening with her first chart-topping solo hit, "Crazy In Love" and closing with her current hit single, "Halo".
During mainly her power ballads, Beyonce used her strong and beautiful voice to grab everyone's attention aside from her many outrageous and elegant costume changes.
One of my favorites was a performance of "Smash Into You" that shows Bee wearing a classy white dress with a background of water waves splashing behind her, a beautiful moment.
Adding to that beauty was Beyonce dressed as a bride singing "Ave Maria".
The video graphics were also very cool, especially a video of Beyonce portraying her alter-ego, Sasha Fierce coming face to face with a cheetah during the song, "Sweet dreams".
I also enjoyed when she sang on the B-stage because she got closer to the crowd and sang hits like "Baby Boy" and the fan sing-along, "Irreplaceable".
But it was her performance of the world wide dance smash, "Single Ladies" that got the crowd, including myself, out of our seats and dancing with joy.
Overall the show was amazing and proved that Miss Beyonce is not only a pop icon but also a "Diva".
Good concert, but
Madonna is notorious for coming on late, but 11pm on a Sunday night is a bit much. This time was a bit different. She had the concert at a smaller venue than previously. I have seen Madonna perform many times. The parking was horrible and she made a rule about no cell phones. She always enjoy her concerts. All the cell phones were locked in a case that you couldn’t even see through. This was both good and bad. Madonna requested that the heat be cranked up to a very uncomfortable level in the venue. This was horrible for people with sick parents or small children at home. These things made the experience not very positive.
Three Days Grace & Bullet for my valentine ROCKED!
Puddle of Mudd had a great concert! They threw a speaker and mic, main vocalist had brochitis and couldn't sing hardly. He wasn't happy AT all! Great crowd! Bullet for my Valentine rocked the concert. I hadn't even heard of them before buying tickets to MayDay. Candlelight: Tribute to Fleetwood Mac headlined and they were the BEST! Of course, they played music from their new album and all-time favorites, and didn't let us leave without RIOT. They encored for more music per the crowds request! All in all, the only downside was the heat and sun!
Pat & Neil were awesome ... venue, not so much
The show by Candlelight: Tribute to Fleetwood Mac was truly incredible. Neil G. is still one of the best voices in rock n roll. The show was fast paced and tight. The venue sound system was so small and weak that hearing the show properly was a challenge if you were more than a dozen rows back. The echo from the room, essentially a big box, added to the difficulty. The continued use of the crappy, plastic folding chairs that were zip tied together made it impossible to be comfortable watching the show. It's disappointing to pay good money for tickets and not have a decent seat. I love the great shows at Deadwood Mountain Grand, a wonderful addition to Deadwood and the Black Hills. Until the seating situation is improved, I won't be purchasing tickets for shows there again.
